Prairie Pride Credit Union Newsletter - Summer 2001
|
ACTIVITIES:
All branches hosted a "Meeting the Staff" day with coffee and treats served. Visitors met Bob Wolensky, Nelson Farnden & Tracey Fieber, our management team from Alameda.
The Fantasy Fiddlers entertained at the Alameda Auditorium on April 7th. A large crowd took in the event and were thoroughly entertained.
Each community has had a Town-Wide Garage Sale in the last month and each has been a success! What a wonderful way to clean out or furnish your basement.
Alida Credit Union celebrated its 35th year of serving the community in 2000. Larry Jackson of Regina (formerly Alida) was commissioned to paint a picture of the first owned and current Credit Union building. The painting is now finished and on display at the Alida Branch. Please stop in to see it.
Prairie Pride Credit Union continues to support 4-H Clubs in our area.
We purchased a calf at The Alameda Fair on June 9, 2001.
The calf was raised by Kathleen Hjertaas of the Alida 4-H Beef Club.
