This banking conversion is a huge project for the staff and it will impact member service to a certain extent. Even though we will do everything we can to minimize the impact, some members and non-members may find it inconvenient or even frustrating if they cannot talk to the staff person that they always have.

A Core Conversion Team was formed to lead the successful process. The Conversion Team consists of Nelson Farnden, Tracey Fieber, Lindy Hogg, Linda Burness and Brenda Junk. These employees have spent and will continue to spend a lot of time out of the office and will also be unavailable during the testing and training stages. All staff requires to be trained on the new system, which will place a high reliance on using part-time/casual staff and others filling in around the office. Following conversion, some staff will continue to be tied up for a period of time ensuring all information has come across accurately plus completing post-conversion tasks.

To you, the members and non-members, this conversion to the new banking system is taking significant resources within the credit union and your patience is appreciated. We need to hear from you about how we*re doing in serving you during this exciting conversion process. Please let Management and Staff know of any problems/issues you are encountering during this process. Also, if you have questions about this new banking system, please ask.

The conversion to the new banking system will take place the weekend of October 31st.

Prairie Pride Credit Union offers loans to students to assist with the cost of attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
