Alida is having a FUNDRAISER AUCTION AND SUPPER to raise money for the rink. The event is on June 21, 2003. Supper is sponsored by PRAIRIE PRIDE CREDIT UNION. Tickets are available for $10.00 at PRAIRIE PRIDE CREDIT UNION * ALIDA BRANCH OR ANY LOCAL BUSINESS. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. Supper starts at 5:30 p.m. Auction begins at 7:00 p.m. Many exciting items- something for everyone!

Alida 4-H BEEF ACHIEVEMENT DAY is on June 13, 2003.

GAINBOROUGH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is having their Drama & Awards Night on June 23/03.
The play is titled *FRANKENSTEIN SLEPT HERE*. Admission $3.00 at the door. Curtain time at 7:00 p.m. and Awards Night to follow.

Did You Know ???

In December, 2002 a counterfeit $50 bill was discovered by our staff. Everyone in our trading area should be on the lookout for counterfeit bills. If you find one, contact your local RCMP detachment.


CARIEVALE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
JULY 11, 12 & 13

A partial list of the weekend activities include a museum, CanDak Car Show, Fashion Show, music, fireworks, Church Service, Dance Saturday Night with *THE PORCH BOYS* and, of course, lots of food. There will be plenty of activities for the children, such as a bike decorating contest, face painting, ceramics, and a Treasure Hunt. The caterer is wanting to know how many will be attending the Saturday Supper. To ensure that everyone gets enough to eat, please contact the registration committee.
