 TERRY FOX RUN 2001
Thank you to all the participants who walked (or biked) in the Terry Fox Run held on September 16 in Alida. Prairie Pride Credit Union - Alida Branch took over the responsibilities of the annual Terry Fox Run from Diane Potapinski who had been organizing the run for the past years in Alida. Marcia Gervais and Lisette Dubuc were the volunteers who collected pledges from the 25 participants in the run.
Juice and cookies were served after the run. A Terry Fox Run T-shirt was the door prize eligible which was won by Johnathon Potapinski of Alida. A total of $937.00 was collected from the pledges.
Way to go!! See you all next year for the Terry Fox Run 2002.
Happy Holidays
The festive holiday season will soon be upon us. Please be advised that all branches of Prairie Pride Credit Union will be closing early on Christmas Eve at 3:00 p.m.
WE WILL BE CLOSED ON CHRISTMAS DAY AND BOXING DAY, 2001 AND ALSO NEW YEAR'S DAY 2002.
How Do YOU Store Your Valuables?
Please be advised that safety deposit boxes are available from all branches of Prairie Pride Credit Union for a nominal annual fee. Come and check one out - the staff would be happy to sign one up for you.
October Youth Promotion
A Youth Promotion was held in all the branches of Prairie Pride Credit Union during the month of October. Draws were made for each of the three age categories: Fat Cat Account (under 12 years of age), Headstart Account (ages 12 - 17), and Graduate Account (ages 18 - 25, who are still attending school).
The lucky winners in each branch were:
